Concerts & Lectures


As a private not-for-profit research and education institution, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory hosts this annual series to share the wonders of art and science with our neighbors. We look forward to your participation and support.



CONCERTS - Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory's Cultural Series Concerts bring rising musical stars to Cold Spring Harbor and give you the opportunity to enjoy their work in our intimate 350-seat auditorium.

  • Individual tickets will be sold at the door in Grace Auditorium for $20 per performance.
  • Purchase a $100 Annual Concert Subscription and attend all 8 concerts at a discounted price
  • A CSHL Association Friend membership (annual gift to the Laboratory of $300 or more) entitles the donor to 2 free Annual Subscriptions. To subscribe as a 'Friend' please make your donation of $300 or more at and indicate on the donation form that you plan to attend the 2016 Concerts. For more information about the CSHL Association call 516-367-8840.

LECTURES - Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory's Cultural Series Lectures feature scientists from CSHL and elsewhere discussing their latest research and what it could mean for human health and wellbeing. Many of our lectures take place right here on campus, but our scientists also speak to the public at other venues such as local bars for Cocktails & Chromosomes, the Secret Science Club in Brooklyn, Cold Spring Harbor Library and even online at Big Think.
