CSHL Clinical Fellows Program
The CSHL Clinical Fellows Program provides an opportunity for clinicians who have finished their clinical training and certifications to do a research fellowship at CSHL. This program, which has been in existence since 1998, provides these emerging physician scientists with outstanding resources as well as a considerably higher stipend compared to a standard postdoctoral fellowship. CSHL Clinical Fellows can pursue their research in any of the CSHL labs, with an average term of 2-3 years.

CSHL has strong research programs in several areas that are studying human disease. For example, programs in cancer biology, neuroscience and genetics, have contributed significantly to our understanding of the mechanisms underlying human cancers, psychiatric disorders and autism. Basic research in these areas has generated a wealth of information on the genes and pathways involved in these diseases, and genomics efforts have led to the identification of potential new therapeutic targets. Furthermore, CSHL features a robust program for the development of animal models that closely recapitulate human disease, which aid researchers to understand basic mechanisms involved as well as to test novel strategies for treatment.

The CSHL Clinical Fellows Program is funded by the Andrew Seligson Memorial Clinical Fellowship.

Focuses on developing more effective treatments and diagnostics for pancreatic cancer. He is studying circulating tumor cells, pharmacogenomics, and patient-derived organoid models to develop personalized therapies. At the same time, he is working to identify and validate biomarkers that will allow for earlier detection of pancreatic cancer.
